"Oi!
This week was a tough one for the whole mission...it seemed like Satan threw everything he had at us, because in the first week the mission baptized 52 people, and this week, even though we had 30 marked, only 14 were baptised. We especially need your prayers this week, so that we can find families to teach and bring into the church.
This Sunday will be really special. Claudion R. M. Costa of the presidency of the Seventy will be here at the Rio Claro Stake Conference. Pres. Castro Deus will be there as well. We are going to try and take everyone we can find to the conference.
Elder Diniz is a wonderful companion. He is excited and easy to get along with. I haven't had a companion like him since Elder McEwen. But poor Elder Dunn. I've heard horror stories about his new companion for the past week.
I got the contacts and the shoes. Thanks, I really needed them, especially the shoes.

It sure us fun to keep up with what Christian is doing. His experiences are different from what we hear from our missionary in Chile. We are glad he is doing well.
